A very popular meeting place for a host of local organisations and very busy most days of the week. The facility comprises a main hall and one committee room, which is fully equipped to hold hybrid meetings. The Hall has a well equipped kitchen and car parking is available adjacent at the Hall.
Among the organisations that have made their home at the hall over the years include the Ti a Fi (Welsh Medium playgroup), Tiny Toes Ballet, Longford Senior Citizens Club, Longford Yoga Group, Neath Abbey Branch of WI, The Wednesday Stitchers Group, The Helping Hands Knitters Group, Longford Short Mat Bowls Club, Longford Karate Club, Longford Mothercraft and Dyffryn Clydach Plaid Cymru Branch. The Hall is also used from time to time by local schools and is a very popular venue for children’s birthday parties. The Chrysanthemum Society hold their events here several times a year and the hall is the venue for all the social events organised by the Community Council.
Each Friday evening, throughout the year, sees prize bingo hosted by different organizations and local charities benefit greatly from this social event. On Thursday evenings each week there is a public short mat bowls session and new visitors would be most welcome.
