Children’s Playgrounds
The Council has a general play area located at the rear of Lon Glynfelin and a recently refurbished playground at The Drive in Longford adjacent to the Memorial Hall. There is also a Toddler Playground at the rear of the Hall with a quiet seating area for parents and grand parents to keep an eye on the toddlers as they enjoy themselves.
Woodlands
There are two woodland areas available for quiet relaxation – one at the Community Council owned Coed y Graig and the other at Coed Bach which is leased to the Community Council by Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council.
Footpaths and Bridleways
The Community is spoiled for choice with regard to footpaths and bridleways and since 1 April 2015 maintenance of most of them is undertaken by Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council. The Community enjoys ten miles of footpaths which attract walkers from outside Dyffryn Clydach as well as being a valued asset to local residents.
